Adoption Procedure and Procedures

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 21 years old
• 24 hour waiting period after completion of application
• All family members must meet the animal
• All dog adoptions must have dog-to-dog introductions
• All current pets must be altered and have valid rabies vaccination
• Verification of home ownership or landlord approval

ADOPTION FEES - FELINES

Kittens (Under 9 months)	$ 90.00
Two Kittens (under 9 months)	$150.00
Adult cats (over 9 months)	$ 50.00

In Your Prime Cats	No fee
BBW Cats **	$ 50.00

**BBW cats are our Best of Both World cats. These cats prefer to be outside and don't do well living indoors.  However, they are very friendly!

ADOPTION FEES - CANINES

No fee   

Puppy (Under 9 months)	$175.00
Small dogs (under 25 pounds)	$135.00
Adult dogs (over 9 months)	$100.00
Senior dogs	Varies
In Your Prime Dogs
Distinctive Breeds	$ 200-$300.00

Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, distemper vaccination, microchip, 30 days Shelter Care pet health insurance, and rabies vaccination (if age allows)

OTHER ANIMALS

Ferrets $45.00 / Rabbits $10.00 / Guinea Pigs $5.00
Exotic Birds $75.00 / Cockatiels $20.00 / Parakeets $10.00
Small Rodents $3.00/ea or 2 for $5.00

**Senior Citizen's receive a 20% Discount on adoption fees
