Snowball is looking for his forever home! * Age: Approximately 2–3 months old (exact DOB unknown, but likely born in June) * Background: Rescued as a young kitten from our barn. He was very frightened and defensive at first but has made wonderful progress learning that people can be safe and kind. * Personality: Sweet, playful, curious, and still building confidence around people. * Food motivated: Snowball is a great eater and loves treats! He will eat from your hand, which has helped him build trust. * Favorite things: Cozy naps under soft blankets, his tunnel toy, and chasing and batting around little fuzzy toys. * Progress: He now accepts gentle petting and is becoming more comfortable exploring, playing, and interacting with people. * Still learning: Snowball may occasionally hiss when approached, but this is improving and is simply his way of communicating that he feels scared or unsure. When frightened, he would rather retreat and hide under a cozy blanket where he feels safe. * Handling: He can still get nervous when picked up and may hold tightly onto his blanket or bed at first. With gentle handling, patience, and reassurance, he continues to become more comfortable and secure. * Ideal home: A loving, patient, and understanding home that will give him time to continue building confidence at his own pace.
