About
Russell is a 1.5 year old, Un-neutered male. He weighs about 85+ lbs, and is a solid boy! He loves to spend the day outside, and playing fetch! He is a wanderer though, so he will need a dog run or cable when he is not being watched outside. He loves outside adventures, although he is working on not pulling on a leash. He also isn't a huge snuggler, but he does like a nice pet here and there. He also loves to lay on his humans feet and chew a stick or toy! He is very food driven, and is a vocal pup about his needs! He isn't fully house broken yet, and still poops and pees in his kennel, then lays in it, a few nights a week. Although I hear thats usual for his breed, and he is young yet! He does seem to need to use the restroom very often, so a doggy door or outside accommodations might suit him best. He currently spends the whole day outside, and is brought in for bed. He is in a household with 2 other pups, and a cat with kittens. He does alright with most pups he has had playdates with, and our small dog, although he is a bruiser, and can be a bully at times. He does have jelousy issues with his litter mate sister whom we also adopted, but he seems to just not do well in a multi-dog home. We have to rehome him due to his jelousy issues with his sister. He has not had much exposure to children, since he is a bruiser, so it is unknown how he is with children. It would seem he would do best in a home without other dog siblings, but would love cat siblings! He also needs someone who is strong, to work with him on his pulling and body slamming behaviors. It appears he does better with men, but still loves his human mom. We think he would really thrive away from his sister, and with someone who can give him the attention and 1 on 1 time he is craving!
