We found Mookie on the streets in Milwaukee in November. She was badly burned, underweight and her ears were chopped. We took her to the vets immediately where she was given medical attention and a bath! Since then she has gained 10+ lbs, we have gotten her on a chicken free diet and loved her up. She has such a personality! She is great with all people and other dogs that I have seen so far. She loves to snuggle, get treats, go for walks, play with toys and eat!!! I have not had her around cats so that is an unknown for me. I will say, you cannot leave food by her, remember, she lived on the streets for a while so shes a big fan of food! She had her ears cut when we found her so she I did keep them protected in colder weather with a little hat. She has had a clean vet check. I am a single mom, a full time student and a full time employee. The only reason we are looking for Mookie is because she gets anxiety being at home during the day. She deserves a home that will be with her more often. It will help her with her itchies and keep her hair growing strong. Let me know if you're interested!!!
