About
We have had Pico for almost 5 years now. Since we have adopted her she has peed outside the litterbox. We have taken he to 3 different vets, including a cat specialist at the cat care clinic in Madison. She has been cleared medically for UTIs and Kidney function. She had all her teeth removed shorty after adopting since she had terrible dental disease. This still has not resolved the peeing issue. We have tried every kind of litter box, and litter. Pheromone plugs ins. Locking her in her own room with her own litter box. She now currently lives in a kennel with a cat tree and her own litter box which is the only way we can stop her from peeing outside the litter box. We have 3 dogs and another cat. She is ok with the small dogs but is still skittish with our big dog. Our other cat does play with her but he can be very rough which will result in her hissing and hiding from him. When we aren’t home we try to separate them to help. At this point, we feel we have exhausted all options to help her and feel at this point she might just over stressed with our current living situation and the amount of animals we have. At this point we feel it would be best for her to have a home where there are no other animals, or calm older animals that don’t bother her. She is an amazing cat that loves every person she meets, will sleep on your pillow at night. Sleep on you lap for hours. We just can’t get her peeing under control.
