Adopting a Pet

How to adopt a pet from us

Second chances happen every day at the Dodge County Humane Society. There are no time or space limits for the animals in our care, and we help hundreds of animals find homes annually.

Come in and spend some time with our animals. Our staff will work with you to assist you in finding the right match for your family. We do offer same day adoptions at the Dodge County Humane Society.

Each potential adopter will complete an Adopter Profile that will be reviewed by our staff. Adopters will also be asked to provide a current photo ID.

If you have room in your home and your heart, please stop by. Your new family member is waiting for you.

Available Animals

We have a constantly changing community of animals available for adoption at Dodge County Humane Society! Checking back regularly or coming in and visiting during our visiting hours is the best way to see who is available. Take a look at our Pet Finder page to see all the animals currently available. We update our Pet Finder page daily, so it is always current!
