Hank's Story

In 2014 DCHS lost one of its own. Many of you remember that tragic night when Hank crossed the rainbow bridge after being struck by a car on Highway 151. Hank touched the lives of so many at DCHS and in the community. To celebrate his spirit and love, we are proud to announce the opening of Hank’s Bank. Hank’s Bank is a pet food pantry open to anyone in Dodge County who is in need of pet food. Through the generous donations of the community, we are hoping that Hank’s Bank can keep families together through though times. DCHS uses Diamond High Energy dog food, Diamond Maintenance cat food, Purina Kitten and Puppy chow, and grain free food for all shelter pets. Donations of other brands of dry food will be used to stock Hank’s Bank.

DCHS animals continue to rely on the community’s generous donations of canned cat and dog food, kitten chow, treats, etc.

We hope that through Hank’s memory we are able to give back to a community that has given us so much.
